The Coronavirus testing site is located at Oak Bend Medical Center, but residents must first complete an online assessment.

Once the online assessment is completed, those who pass the screening will receive a unique code to be used when they arrive at the medical center for their test.

The county has said that it will give priority to those believed to be at highest risk of contracting the virus and passing it on to others. They include first responders such as police, firefighters and EMTs. Healthcare professionals and residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities will also have priority.

Even with the Fort Bend location open, Fort Bend residents are permitted to still make use of sites in Harris County or Houston to receive testing.
