Former Clear Springs High School standout Claire Pollack contributed 2 hits and a run for her college squad, the UT Dallas Comets, in their 6-4 loss to the West Texas A&M Buffaloes during Sunday’s NCAA Division III softball contest, which started at 1 p.m. on March 1.

The contest, held at the UTD Softball Field, marked the first time this season the two teams faced off.

Pollack finished the game going 2-for-4 at the plate and scoring once.

The Comets are set to take the field again against the West Texas A&M Buffaloes at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at UTD Softball Field.
