Mayes Middleton, a Republican and Texas State Senator representing the 11th Senate district since 2023, recently shared several endorsements from law enforcement officials and fellow legislators on his social media account.
On March 12, 2026, Middleton posted a message of gratitude to Sheriff Bennie for his support. He quoted the sheriff’s background and experience: “Before taking office as Grayson County Sheriff, I served over thirty years with Texas DPS at duty stations all across Texas. From that experience, I know the importance of having”.
The following day, March 13, Middleton thanked Representative Dyson for an endorsement and cited Dyson’s statement: “I support Mayes Middleton for many reasons, including his dedication to rooting out government corruption. He’s been a conservative mentor, and I appreciate his leadership in passing conservative legislation. As”.
Later on March 13, Middleton expressed appreciation to Sheriff Fullen of Galveston County for an endorsement focused on law enforcement and border security issues. The post included Fullen’s comments: “Mayes fought to back up local law enforcement and give them the tools they needed to combat Biden’s open border illegal immigration”.
Middleton was elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 after replacing former senator Larry Taylor. Since then, he has received public recognition from various officials highlighting his legislative work on conservative policies and support for law enforcement.
