Mayes Middleton, a prominent figure in Texas politics, recently took to social media to share endorsements and his stance on significant legislative matters. Middleton is actively campaigning for the position of Texas Attorney General and has been vocal about his political alliances and legislative efforts.

On June 4, 2025, Middleton expressed gratitude towards Representative Mark Dorazio for his endorsement. He praised Dorazio as “a champion for conservative values, parental rights, our 10th Amendment States’ Rights,” highlighting Dorazio’s role as “the author of the transactional gold bill.” Middleton concluded by thanking him for endorsing his campaign for Texas Attorney General. The full statement can be found here.

Later that day, Middleton also thanked Representative Stan Gerdes for his support. His concise acknowledgment read: “Thank you Representative Stan Gerdes for endorsing me for Texas Attorney General!”

In another post on the same day, Middleton addressed a legal matter concerning education policies in Texas. He commented on a lawsuit related to in-state tuition for illegal immigrants. Middleton stated: “I’m glad to see this lawsuit.” He mentioned his previous efforts in filing “the bill to ban in-state tuition for illegal immigrants,” expressing hope that the State would settle the lawsuit and end subsidized in-state tuition for this group.

Middleton has served as a Republican member of the Texas Senate since January 2023, representing District 11.
