Mayes Middleton, a Republican elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 to represent District 11, recently shared updates and endorsements through his social media accounts.
On March 31, 2026, Middleton expressed gratitude for an endorsement from the Cattle Raisers PAC. He wrote, “Thank you Cattle Raisers PAC for your endorsement and all you do to protect ranchers and landowners. My family has been a member for over 100 years and I’m honored to have your support. ‘Cattle Raisers PAC proudly endorses Mayes Middleton for election to Texas Attorney General.”
The following day, April 1, 2026, Middleton announced the implementation of legislation he authored. He stated, “Waste, Fraud, and Abuse Update! Today, my bill (SB 379) to remove candy and soda from the taxpayer-funded SNAP program goes into effect. President Trump @realDonaldTrump, USDA Secretary @BrookeLRollins, and HHS Secretary @RobertKennedyJr, @MakeTXHealthy have made Making”.
Later on April 1, Middleton acknowledged the Artemis II crew members as constituents of his district. He posted, “Today is a historic day! I’m honored to have all four Artemis II crew members as constituents in Senate District 11. Please join me in praying for these heroes and their families as they journey around the moon. May God Bless them! @NASA”.
Middleton succeeded Larry Taylor in representing Texas’ 11th Senate district after his election in 2023.
