Mayes Middleton, a Republican elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 representing the 11th district, has shared recent endorsements and political commentary on his social media accounts.
On February 7, 2026, Middleton expressed gratitude for an endorsement from Judge Tim O’Hare. In his post, he stated: “Thank you Judge @TimothyOHare! I appreciate this important endorsement from my friend Tim O’Hare, a stalwart conservative leading Tarrant County. Honored to earn his support! ‘I am excited to endorse Mayes Middleton, a man of strong faith and integrity, for Attorney General.”
The following day, February 8, 2026, Middleton commented on eligibility requirements for public office and referenced Gene Wu’s stance regarding foreign ownership in Texas: “Gene Wu showing us why only those born in America should be eligible to run for office. Gene fought to let communist China buy Texas out from underneath us.”
On February 10, 2026, Middleton highlighted another endorsement from Anne Gebhart: “‘Mayes Middleton is a man of faith. By fighting and winning numerous tough conservative battles in the Texas Senate, he’s proven that his conservative convictions are real. He’ll be a great Texas Attorney General and he has my full endorsement.’ – Anne Gebhart”
Middleton succeeded Larry Taylor as state senator for Texas’ 11th district after being elected in 2023.
