Mayes Middleton, a Texas State Senator representing the 11th district and a Republican, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing his intentions if elected Attorney General, as well as his participation in local political events.
On October 18, 2025, Middleton announced his plans to investigate a prominent figure, stating, “As AG, I will open an investigation against George Soros on Day 1. Few have done more harm to our great state.”
The following day, October 19, 2025, Middleton shared his attendance at a local Republican event, writing, “Golden Corridor Republican Women celebrated 35 years this Saturday. What an awesome turnout, thank you to Rep. Mitch Little for inviting me to sit at your table, along with Republican Party of Texas Chairman Abraham George. It was great seeing so many friends and supporters,”
On October 20, 2025, Middleton addressed the issue of human and sex trafficking in online spaces, particularly referencing the online game Roblox. He stated, “Zero tolerance for the evils of human and sex trafficking, these low life, evil predators are invading one of the most innocent games kids play – Roblox. This session I fought for the AG’s power to prosecute sex and human trafficking, and as AG I will aggressively prosecute”
Middleton was elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023, succeeding Larry Taylor as the representative for the state’s 11th Senate district.
