Mayes Middleton, a Republican elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 to represent the 11th Senate district, has used his social media platform to highlight developments in conservative activism and legislative enforcement in Texas.
On December 9, 2025, Middleton posted about the expansion of Turning Point USA chapters across Texas. He wrote, “Hundreds of @TPUSA chapters have been started across Texas in the last few months. We are in a great revival in our state and it’s amazing to see so many in the next generation join the fight for Christian conservative values! @GregAbbott_TX and @DanPatrick honored TPUSA at https://t.co/xbNCFYS2Ct”.
Later that day, Middleton addressed compliance with recent state laws regarding gender definitions and privacy. On December 9, 2025, he stated, “If Arlington fails to follow the Women’s Privacy Law, it is subject to a $125,000 per day fine for allowing men in women’s private spaces. Their proposed ordinance also would violate the “What is a Woman” Law, which defines male and female as biological sex. Follow the law or https://t.co/4OmgqsWCUB”.
That evening, Middleton shared an endorsement from Matt Shaheen. The December 9 post reads: “MAGA Mayes Middleton is a leader protecting children online from Big Tech and predators. He fought and defeated the atheists in our schools and has the experience and conservative record to be our next Attorney General.” – Matt Shaheen https://t.co/ArY0Woopic.
Middleton succeeded Larry Taylor as state senator for Texas’ 11th district after being elected in 2023.
