Mayes Middleton, Texas State Senator representing the 11th Senate district since 2023, posted a series of statements on his Twitter account expressing support for former President Donald Trump’s initiatives and outlining his legislative priorities.
On August 19, 2025, Middleton wrote, “President Trump is right — the Big Beautiful Map is a game changer. I’ve been fighting hard to deliver it for Texas and the America First agenda. Let’s finish the job!”
The following day, August 20, Middleton highlighted an endorsement from a fellow legislator: “I’m grateful to have the endorsement of Rep. Tom Oliverson, a proven conservative leader who has fought tirelessly for Texas families and our values in the Legislature.”
Later that same day, he addressed ongoing legal challenges regarding religious displays in public schools: “As a Senator, I fought to pass the law to put the Ten Commandments in every classroom. Middleton was elected as a Republican to represent Texas’s 11th Senate district after replacing Larry Taylor in 2023. His recent social media posts underscore his alignment with conservative policies and his ongoing efforts both within state legislation and potential future roles.
