On August 13, 2025, Middleton posted a congratulatory message referencing both a former president and country music artist George Strait: “The greatest President honoring the greatest King. Congratulations George Strait!”
The following day, August 14, 2025, Middleton commented on ongoing debates about privacy in public spaces and legislative action: “While I’m fighting for the safety of women and children, Democrats are fighting to let perverts in dresses invade women’s private spaces. I’m not bending to the woke left’s delusions, thats why I filled the Texas Women’s Privacy Act. It’s time for Democrats to do their job and”
On August 15, 2025, he outlined his policy priorities and recent legislative progress: “I’m fighting to drain the swamp, stop the woke left’s gender ideology and enforce election integrity! Middleton succeeded Larry Taylor as state senator after being elected in 2023. He has been vocal about issues such as privacy legislation for women’s spaces and election integrity measures.
