Mayes Middleton, a Republican and Texas State Senator for the 11th district since 2023, recently used his social media platform to highlight endorsements and express support for local law enforcement and education leaders.
On April 7, 2026, Middleton thanked Sheriff Doolittle for his endorsement in the race for Attorney General. He wrote, “Thank you Sheriff Doolittle for your support. I look forward to working with you as Attorney General to keep dangerous criminals out of Montgomery County. ‘Mayes Middlton is a friend to Montgomery County and a great supporter of law enforcement who will provide us the tools we…'”.
Later that day, he congratulated Aaron Kinsey on his role as chairman of the State Board of Education (SBOE), stating, “Congrats @AaronKinseyTX ! Aaron is a fantastic SBOE Chairman focused on better academic outcomes, knows how much character and values mean in a good education and prioritizes parental rights. He’s a reformer that always puts the best interests of kids first.”
On April 9, 2026, Middleton acknowledged Sheriff Lindemann’s decades-long service and welcomed his support ahead of an upcoming runoff election: “Thank you Sheriff Lindemann for your 42 years of service in law enforcement. I appreciate your strong support in the May 26th runoff! ‘In Williamson County, we are tough on crime. I want an Attorney General who will have our back and partner with us to keep criminals and…'”
Middleton was elected to represent Texas Senate District 11 in 2023 after replacing Larry Taylor. His recent statements continue to emphasize collaboration with law enforcement officials and support for educational leadership as part of his campaign priorities.
