Mayes Middleton, a Republican elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 representing the 11th district, has used social media to share updates on his campaign activities and support from conservative leaders.
On October 30, 2025, Middleton expressed gratitude for a recent event in Wharton. He posted, “Thank you Wharton! Great seeing so many conservatives come out to hear me speak, thank you Pastor Limas and Martha and Karl Johnson for hosting. The fight for Christian conservative values is alive and well in Wharton and I’m excited to add grassroots support every day in my”.
Later that day, Middleton announced an endorsement from a prominent local political figure. On October 30, 2025, he wrote, “I’m pleased to announce that Sharron Middleton Albertson has endorsed our campaign. If you follow Collin County politics, you know that for decades, Sharron has been a force for electing strong conservatives and promoting our values. She’s past president of Golden Corridor”.
Continuing his outreach efforts across Texas, Middleton thanked local GOP leadership in Amarillo on November 1, 2025. He stated, “Amarillo by morning. Thank you Potter County GOP Chairman Dan Rogers for having me on your show to talk about fighting the left and winning, and how I’ve delivered conservative results for our Great State. Also greatful for Accelerate Church for hosting a meet and greet for my”.
Middleton succeeded Larry Taylor as state senator after the 2023 election cycle and has positioned himself as an advocate for conservative values in Texas politics.
