Mayes Middleton, a Republican and Texas State Senator representing the 11th district since 2023, has recently shared updates on his campaign activities and endorsements through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
On February 4, 2026, Middleton highlighted his participation in a local political event: “Cameron County had a massive turnout for their Lincoln Reagan dinner with Lara Trump, this is the frontline in defeating the left. Great seeing Senator Adam Hinojosa and Rep. Janie Lopez, and I’m proud to have their endorsment for AG! I fought to pass Trump’s big beautiful”. The post referenced support from fellow Texas lawmakers Adam Hinojosa and Janie Lopez.
The following day, February 5, Middleton attended another gathering focused on conservative values. He wrote: “Patriots and Pastors event in Lubbock today: What an awesome room full of conservatives fighting for Biblical values in government. Thank you Susan Perez and Gay Herrin for inviting me to speak about my fight for the 10 Commandments and prayer in schools, our pro-life laws,”.
On February 6, Middleton expressed gratitude for an endorsement from OGWA USA. In his post he included their statement: “Thank you @ogwausa! ‘Mayes Middleton has the experience and grit to take on the drug cartels, support our Law Enforcement Officers, and prosecute oilfield theft. He is an oilman and attorney who has fought Biden’s federal government overreach and the Green New Scam to protect'”.
Middleton was elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 after succeeding Larry Taylor as representative of the state’s 11th Senate district.
