Mayes Middleton, a Republican member of the Texas State Senate representing the 11th district since 2023, recently posted several messages on his Twitter account expressing gratitude to law enforcement, local conservative organizations, and constituents in Denton County.
On January 10, 2026, Middleton wrote: “Thankful for the men and women who serve in law enforcement. Most of us can’t imagine what you see and put up with on a daily basis. Thank you for serving the communities of our great state. I will always Back the Blue.
May God protect You.”
Later that day, he thanked a political organization by posting: “Thank you @TFRW for your tireless commitment to keeping Texas Red!” (January 10, 2026).
On January 11, 2026, Middleton commented on his visit to Denton County: “Back in Denton County, where we previously chose to sign the Save Women’s Sports Act into law because these local conservatives are the tip of the spear in the Conservative movement.
Thank you for a wonderful Lincoln Reagan Dinner tonight!”
Middleton was elected to represent Texas’s 11th Senate district in 2023 after succeeding Larry Taylor. He has been active in supporting conservative initiatives and recognizing groups aligned with his party’s priorities.
