Mayes Middleton, a Republican and Texas State Senator representing the 11th Senate district since 2023, has recently made several statements on his social media platform addressing issues of public safety, political endorsements, and law enforcement.
On September 17, 2025, Middleton posted: “No half measures and no passing the trash — our children must be protected from these vile individuals cheering on murder. I will fight to ensure they are held fully accountable.”
Later that day, he expressed gratitude for local support in Tarrant County: “I’m proud to have earned the endorsement of Vince and Mona Puente who are such incredible servant leaders in Tarrant County. They do so much for so many in the Ft. Worth area and we are blessed to have Vince and Mona fighting for conservative values every day. Thank you for” (September 17, 2025).
The following day, Middleton addressed law enforcement accountability with a statement regarding the Dallas County District Attorney: “The penal code is not a suggestion. Anyone that treats it that way including the Dallas County DA must be removed from office. I will fight to do exactly that. Law and Order, tough on crime IS America First.” (September 18, 2025).
Middleton was elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 after succeeding Larry Taylor as representative of District 11.
