Dennis Paul, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 129th district since 2015, recently shared updates on social media about his community engagement and campaign activities.
On October 13, 2025, Paul marked the federal holiday by stating, “Today we celebrate Columbus Day, honoring the courage and determination of those who set sail into the unknown and helped forge the path to the world we know today. #ColumbusDay #Txlege”.
The following day, he highlighted his participation in several local events, posting on October 14, 2025, “It’s been a great few days in the community! Spoke with the Clear Creek Association of Retired Teachers, caught up with @RepBrianBabin at the Brazoria Co. EC meeting, and visited the Brazoria Co. Hispanic and Deer Park Chambers. #SD11 #Txlege”.
Later that same day, Paul acknowledged support from a fellow Texas politician, writing, “Honored to have the support of Congressman @RepBrianBabin in our campaign for Texas Senate. I’m grateful for his leadership and his dedication to serving the people of Texas. #SD11 #txlege”.
Paul was elected to his current position in 2015, succeeding John E. Davis as the representative for Texas’s 129th House district.
