On September 8, 2025, Paul announced an endorsement in his ongoing campaign for Texas Senate District 11. He wrote: “Proud to be endorsed by Senator @PaulBettencour’s in my race for Texas Senate District 11! Two days later, on September 10, Paul expressed condolences regarding the death of Charlie Kirk. In his post he stated: “I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie Kirk. Charlie inspired a generation of young conservatives with his passion and dedication. My prayers are with his wife, children, and the entire Turning Point USA family during this tragic time.”
On September 11, Paul marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a message honoring victims and first responders: “On this day, we remember the victims, the heroes, and the families forever changed by 9/11. Paul was elected to represent Texas’s 129th House district in 2015 after succeeding John E. Davis.
