Dennis Paul, a Republican member of the Texas House representing the 129th district since 2015, shared updates on recent legislative actions and political events through a series of posts in August 2025.
On August 19, Paul expressed his support for Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick at a campaign event. In his post, he stated: “It was an honor to join Lt. Gov. @DanPatrick at his campaign kickoff today! Governor Patrick was joined by a strong showing of conservative senators and several of my fellow Senate candidates. #txlege https://t.co/hXM3zd3yoR”.
Two days later, on August 21, Paul highlighted legislative progress in the Texas House regarding congressional representation. He wrote: “The Texas House passed HB 4 to ensure fair, accurate, and constitutional representation for Texans in Congress. Proud to stand with my colleagues on this important achievement and ready to continue delivering on the Governor’s call. #txlege https://t.co/DKsB0saX7c”.
Later that same day, Paul addressed the impact of recent flooding in Texas and efforts to strengthen disaster response measures. He posted: “This summer’s flooding brought heartbreaking loss to Texas families, including children at Camp Mystic. Today, the House passed bills to strengthen disaster response, improve emergency plans, & fund flood recovery so no family endures this pain again. #txlege https://t.co/Hj9LmtAm65”.
Paul has served as the representative for Texas’ 129th House district since succeeding John E. Davis in 2015.
