The UT Dallas Comets, featuring former Clear Springs High School standout Claire Pollack, were defeated 21-6 by the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas in their NCAA Division III softball game at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13.
The NCAA matchup was held at UTD Softball Field and marked the second meeting between the two teams this season. In their earlier contest, also on Friday, March 13, the Comets lost 9-3 to the Javelinas.
Pollack finished with two hits in four at-bats and scored two runs in the game.
The Comets’ upcoming contest is set for 4 p.m. on Friday, March 20, at Mayer Softball Field, where they will face the Angelo State Rams.
