Alvin alum Victoria Valdez set to compete in NCAA softball tournament with Texas Tech

Victoria Valdez, a graduate of Alvin High School and now a member of the Texas Tech Lady Raiders softball team, is set to participate in the NCAA Tournament.

The Lady Raiders are seeded third and will face the fifth-seeded Mississippi State Bulldogs in their opening matchup.

The tournament opener is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, at 11:07 a.m. at Devon Park.
